Re: Save the Dates

This is what my FI and I did. I was sooooooooo cheap!

We took one of our engagement pictures and opened it up in Publisher. We put our own wording on the picture, then went to Walmart and printed them out! They turned out AMAZINGLY!!!

We opted for the really good print which was water proof, stain resistant and smudge proof. They were 0.28 cents per picture. So we spent a litte over $30.00 for all of our pictures. BUT you can also get them for 0.15 cents a picture if you wanted to wait two days.

Anyways, we are attaching them to a piece of cardstock with black photo corners and putting them in the envelope just like that. We are also putting magnets on the back of them so they can be put on the fridge. We're finishing them up tonight so I will put on the final product, but you can see the proof that I created in my Album!

Altogether inlcuding the envelope, cardstock, magnets and photo corners, our STD's cost us $0.41 EACH!!!!!

I got magnets from http://www.wedding-magnet.com/
They came out very nicely. I don't have a picture of them to post but I was very happy. They email you a proof and you can change it as many times as you like before they print it. I remember it costing about $120 for 125. HTH
