I asked the girls their opinion on this recently too and if I remember right I was told probably around 6-9 months prior to wedding...Don't quote me on that...I think so

this is about right but if you're having a destination wedding or a wedding on a holiday weekend you tend to send out your STD's a year in advance. But it's really up to you, I'll be sending out my STD's a year in advance because I want to!
