Save the dates

Hey! When are all of you mailing the save the dates? I am making them and since I am a teaching I was thinking about doing it during the summer.

i will be be doing them as soon as i book my hall...i have a LOt of outta state family and i wanna give THEM plenty of time

I already sent half of mine already. I feel like I might as well have them start saving the date..lol BUt I think that would be fine if you did it over the summer. I think a year in advance is perfect!

i'm doing the 1 year mark....lots of our friends are teachers, and they like to take vaca's as soon as school lets out

We're having a small engagement party May 31, of this year. It'll be exactly 1 year before the wedding so were going to give them out at the party and the rest will be mailed out a few days before the eparty

I'll prob be mailing out after the new yr.... that gives them 8 months notice...

ETA: I think a year is too long... unless you're having on a popular holiday weekend where everyone goes on vacay

Now that I think about it.... I'll prob do some type of Xmas card with the magnet in there...

i have heard a couple of different things. As soon as you book the hall.

I also heard a year before. It's whenever you get to it honestly.

I am mailing mine out by the end of Feb. and we are getting married next april

I am sending mine after the date passes this year.

like...my wedding is june 28 09, i will send them after june 28 this year.

I also want to get them out 1 yr in advance... I want people to be able to make OOT arrangements and things... that and I'm neurotic and want everything done ASAP

We mailed ours out right before our e-party in August....we didn't want to have to keep answering when we were getting married.

They say your suppose to mail them out a year before your wedding. So, I guess I will send them out in August

I was thinking about putting magnets in 08 Christmas cards. We'll see.

I'm going to wait til the summer, because I want to take my epics first and put them on the STDs.

I want to send them out about a year in advance because I am most likely having a Thursday or Sunday wedding
