I have been having so much making these STD's. I have to know- are they tacky? Would you send something like this out to your friends/family? I don't know if I should have them done professionally. I don't think my FH or family would tell me if they thought these were bad.
They are really good, I like the 2nd and 4th ones the best. Good Job!!!!!!

i like the last one - i got mine on www.weddinginvitations411.com - they were fairly inexpensive - about $150 when it was all said and done (that included having the return address printed on them - i am not that crafty so it was definately worth the money to give the headache to someone else and just wait and stalk the mailman - good luck - keep us posted

I like # 2 and 3 ...where did you make these at and how ... i think save money and make hem yourself you have so many other things to worry about .... save the dates arent important enough to me to spend money on them

I like the 3rd one! I wish I was good at making that kinda comp graphic stuff. I used to be but I'm rusty at photo shop these days

If your nervous doing them yourself, check out Kevin Custom Candy Wraps, its a store on ebay, you can just google it. He was so cheap and it came out nice. I paid $4.95 for 10. Another girl on here suggested it.

Thank you for all your honest feedback. When I make more (which Im sure I will!) I'll post them again. I just really need an unbiased opinion on these.
And seriously, tell me the truth. You can tell me you hate them- I wouldnt wan to send them out and have them look awful and everyone knows they're awful except me!

also has anyone sent out 'engagement announcements'? (basically just the card that says 'we're engaged' but not really an official invite to a party yet) just something i was thinking about...

Not 100% sure but I think alot of people send them out a year in advance. Too far in advance and people might either lose it or forget. I dont think they're even making 2010 calenders yet for people to write it down on We haven't sent out an engagement announcement. Just kinda told everyone by word of mouth!
