Re: save the dates...
greetingcardvillage.com has very affordable save the dates. They aren't magnets. They come with a sticker of a bride and groom with your names and date of your wedding that goes on the calendar. I used them and so many people were commenting on how cute they were. Definitely check the website out. I couldn't get over how cheap they were!!!

Yeah, everyone loved them!!! They are soooo different and they are cheaper to mail...since magnet are a little heavy, if you are sending to a lot of people, these STD's are the way to go!!!
And they come with return address labels with the bride and groom as well!! I just can't say enough about them!

Just be careful, I heard they are on the thin side. Try getting a sample first.

On ebay, Kevin's Custom Candy Wraps, another girl on here recommended him. Its was $30 for 60. He has all different designs and very quick turnaround.

Be careful when you send then. If you're not getting married until 2009, most people don't have a calendar yet to put the stickers on. Great to send in January when everyone has their new calendars
They are really cute at a great pice.

But if you do go with the magnet, make sure you order a sample first. I ordered one and only then did I find out they were DIY... they were 25% more money than the rest and I had to attach the magnet to the paper myself.

Re: save the dates...
I used Vistaprint. You can upload your own design as we did. A graphic designer friend put something together for us. He cropped a photo I sent him and used our wedding colors. It's not difficult and you can probably create it yourself.
Creating your own template allows you to match your wedding colors/theme and fonts. This was important for us since I'm not using a common color scheme. I bought envelopes to match and it worked out perfectly. Check out the pic in my album.
By the way, the magnets are of great quality. Everyone loves them.
