When is everyone planning on mailing Save the dates?

I am probably too early with this but I am sending them out exactly a year from the wedding. I think the rule is 6-8 months before...

At my eparty, I am handing out the std magnets with the favors. As for everyone else, I plan on incorporating it in my holiday card, since it would be just about a year before.

I was thinking of sending mine out a little after the one year mark, this one they don't get wrapped in any of the holiday stuff. So probably mid-end of January 09

I was going to order them now but I think I may hold off until next year. If I buy them now knowing me I'll probably lose them!

not sure, depends on when i have my e-party... if it is a year before i will just stick my std's in w/ the e party invite, but if i dont do that then probably summer of 2009 sometime.
