save the dates

how soon is to soon to send them out? I'm interested in getting the magnets, any recommendations?

I plan on sending mine out at the one year mark May 2011. Are you planning on sending them out now?

I also recommend Magnetqueen for magnets. I got my magnets thru them and they are amazing. Quality is like none other. Its so thick, not flimsy and It wont peel or fade in color after a while like the others.

well I figured between the shopping around, ordering and gathering addresses I wont be able to get it together till Jan, maybe I should wait till March?

I am probably going to send mine out in July/August. Ill prob. do my engagement shoot in May (year mark) and send them out close after that!

yea u def should send them out at least a year in advance...i know the hardest part is waiting until the month arrives...i had mine picked out for soo long but its way to soon to mail them out for my date

We aren't sure if we're getting engagement pictures or not but either way we are waiting until at least March.

Usually they are mailed at your 1 year mark but other people have sent them out 8 or 6 months before...

As the other ladies has mentioned a year to 8 months is a good range... I know getting address and finding a STD will take me a while so I plan on giving myself a few months before I send mine out, which would be Sept 2011

We're doing our STD's after our engagement shoot... which will be after we book a photographer... which will most likely be around April - June. We also have to write down the entire list.. with address... and decide who we want to definitely invite. So.... with all that thinking involved... I am taking my sweet time.
