So when is everyone planning on sending out their STD's? I'm getting married on Memorial Day weekend, so I think I should send them out right after Memorial Day 2012- do you ladies think that's too soon?

Yea that sounds fine ..I sending mine out a year from my date..I just don't want to send it too early but early enough

yea i will probably send mine a little earlier too... my wedding day is the last sunday of february break.... (it's ending at 8:30 though, so work on monday should be fine for everyone, except me...) but i want to give OOT a heads up on that

That sounds fine! STD's are usually sent out at or after the one-year mark. A few months later is fine as well... but for a holiday weekend, you'll want to send them early. If you're having a bunch of OOT guests, it's a good idea to include the hotel block info and wedding website.
Also (it's way early to think about this), you don't need to send STDs to everyone. If there are people who you're not sure if you're inviting to the wedding or a B-list, don't send them an STD.
I should probably MAKE a wedding website then huh?

I am getting married the end of March so I think I am going to do beg. of April. I am the weekend before Easter and I know some of my family goes away then for spring break.

I dont have a ton of OOT guests, so i'm going to prob just wait until a year or so before the wedding. Also, someone already said it, but totally dont send a STD if the guest is on the B list....obviously LOL

I was actually talking to my FH about a 'B-list' and he was cracking up! He said that was the funniest phrase he ever heard of

Side Note--irrelevant, sorry! but speaking of 'B-List', once I got engaged, people kept texting or facebooking 'I can't wait for your wedding!' or 'What are we doing for your bachelorette party?!' umm, half of these people wouldn't even be on my D-LIST! let alone, my B-list!! Sending invites will be harder than i thought!

Our wedding is the day before July 4th I think I am going to do mine at the 10 month mark... i have alot of family flying in from other Countries and want to make sure guests dont make any plans!!!

Yea, I keep getting more and more nervous about doing it on a holiday weekend. My mom keeps telling me that if people would rather bbq than come to a wedding they're nuts, but I still worry!
