save the dates !!!!!

WAs thinking how far in advance do we have to send out save the dates ?

I would say like a year. Depending if you have a lot of OOT people. JMO

Im planning on sending mine out in July/August. That will give me roughly 8 months. I dont want to send them to early because honestly, people will forget. I dont have many OOT guests, and all of my family already has the date so Im not really concerned with making sure theyre out super early!

Since youre wedding is in October, I would probably send them out in the beginning of January. This way any OOT guests can request their vacation time, since most jobs want to know that in January.

Thanks so much for responding !! I was thinking to do it exactly a year before but than I was very surprise when a girl from my job who is getting married in 2013 mailed hers out . I thought I was slacking lol !

I was going to do it between a year and 9 months? I have a lot of OOT guest, but a lot of the close family and friends already have the date.

I have a lot of oot guests and I need to book hotel before I can send out save the dates. So I was going to mail them one year out after I finish wedding website and have hotel stuff 'official'

But that's just me. Hth

Im getting married in Oct also. I plan to send mines out sometime btwn Jan/Feb.. so 8-9 months in advance.

Thanks everyone ! <3 ..... jassy how have you been it been a while since we talked . We are getting married days apart lol ...

I already have my save the dates picked out , I just have to work on them . I have a photographer taking pictures of us every month and doing a 5 by 7 calander for all my guest ! I was in such a panic when i saw the girl from my job out already ... thanks for reassuring me I had a little time <3 !

I know! So exciting lol Everything has been going great. We have our venue, photographer n videographer, and officiant. We have 2 florist appts next month so hoped to have that booked soon. How is the planning coming along with u?

U have plenty of time for the save the dates so dont worry!
