Save the Dates??

hi!

we are getting married 11/29/2013. our engagement party is coming up soon, december 9th. when should we send out the save the dates? i'm sure i have time. just curious.

i'm also interested in possibly doing save the date magnets. does anyone recommend a vendor?

They usually suggest seding them at least 6 months before. We're getting married in Nov 2013, and we're sending them in April or May. We're using A giftful heart. They have great magnets!!

I'm getting married October 2013 and sent them out this summer because it was then one less thing to worry about lol. Plus I'm getting married a holiday weekend, so I wanted people to be aware early.

I'm getting married 10/5/13 and I'm sending them out in Feb. We are having our e-pics taken next month and want to wait to use pics from the shoot

We used Vista print. Got magnets, colors were bright and they arrived in a week. Just needed to buy envelopes separately.

I think anywhere between a year and 6 months is appropriate for save the dates. However, they're informal - it's really up to the bride and groom. I used magnet street and I was very happy.

Were getting married at the end of september and i want to send the save the dates with our holiday cards. Our save the date magnets are included in our photography package, they will use a picture from our engagement shoot. Maybe worth looking into if your photographer will include them in your package as well!

Our wedding is 9-21-13. We know that this is a very popular date for weddings, so we are sending ours very soon after the first of the year. Plus many of our guests are out of town. I think those factors come into play when deciding when to send

My wedding is 11/2/13, we are sending them in the end of january, we didn't want to send them with holiday stuff because we were afraid they would get mixed in and thrown out, I would say early as you can because its around thanksgiving and holiday time, so people make travel arrangements and plans way in advance :)

we didnt want to send out more than 1 year so people didnt get confused and think it was in 2012

I just ordered mine from agiftheart.com and am planning on sending them out once I receive them. They come with envelopes which is great. It will be less than the year mark.

I am getting married on 12/6 so I decided to do xmas/save the date cards. I just received them from my vendor and will be sendding them out 1st week of December. They came out so cute..can't wait to send them out!

I used magnetstreet too! Very happy with how they came out! I sent mine out a few weeks after the year mark. People you really want at your wedding may need to take vacation extremely early.

I sent mine out about 10 months before my wedding. I got mine from vistaprint and also used a 50% off coupon.

I sent most of mine out 10-12 months before the wedding because we are getting married Memorial Day weekend. I used vistaprint and I got magnets. They came out great and I received them within a few days. Mine came with envelopes.
