Save the Dates advice

Save the Dates advice

Do you think it's rude to not invite someone to your wedding that you sent a save the date to, if you sent it and then never heard from them again?

I sent them out in Feb. and despite my numerous attempts to get in touch, nothing. I'm sending my envelopes to the calligrapher tomorrow and I just dont know what to do.

I'd say yes because you said save the date except if they aren't returning your calls I'd bump them to the B list. You did say numerous attempts.

This happened to FH and I. We sent out STD's and didnt hear from one of his friends for a while.. we heard through a mutual friend he moved so we tried everything to get in touch with him and get his new address and of course NOTHING.. Ended up emailing him and telling him he wasnt recieving a wedding invite and if he decided he wanted to actually call us back with his address we would send it then. OH WELL.

I have a friend that I sent a Save the Date to, but I haven't really spoken to her in a really long time. I regret sending her the STD. I am not inviting her to the bachelorette party. I will send an invite, because that is the right thing to do, but I am hoping she will decline.
