Save the Dates-Calligraphy or hand written??

Hey ladies,
I just received my save the dates, Should I have someone do the calligraphy for the addresses or can I hand write it? What is the norm?

You can do either, it depends on how formal you want them. I'm having www.afineletter.com do it in penmanship. It's .25 per envelope and saves me a ton of work.

run it through the printer if you can...

save the dates are supposed to be more casual than the invites, save the calligraphy for the invites...JMO...

I used the computer for my STD's. I didn't think it was necessary to have them calligraphied- just my opinion

Thanks ladies, I will be using the printer. It sounds like the way to go.

I think of hand calligraphy as very formal and am using it for my wedding invitations. I wanted my STDs to be more casual so I ran them through the printer with a nice font
