save-the-dates help

Hi girls,

I am in the process of preparing my STDs...I have the magnets and the paper that lists what hotels we have chosen.

my question is, what else do I need to include for our out of town guests? Do we need direction cards, etc.?

Nothing for the STDs. You can put that on the invite or newletter for out-of towners. I made my newletter about two weeks agoand I used weddingmapper.com and I am getting married on 7-7-7. You have time to worry about all those plans On STDs All you need is the date and write on it.. Invitation to follow

When I sent out STDs, I included the hotel cards and that was it.

a newsletter?? I have not heard of that.....just out of curiosity...what are putting in your newsletter?

BTW thanks for tip...I didn't think there was anything else to add, but wasn't 100% sure.

okay I am on the right track...I sent out a card that said 'for your convenience......' 'a block of rooms at the following hotels have been reserved......'

and then the number and address of the hotel as well as the cut-off dates.

I am from Michigan so at my shower. I gave them a map on longisland with church, reception my house, hotels , transportaion, airport, attractions I put it all in a folder and titled it The New Yrok Wedding Paln. I was getting so many questions from oput of towners. What airport, What hotel. I went with a couple to give my people a price range. My guest who were on the fence about coming all the way to Li changed their mind after I gave the 'The Plan' Again did it all with Weddingmapper.com It is awesome!!!!
