Save the dates Help
Since I'm bored out of my mind waiting for Sandy to arrive, I figured I'd get a start on entering addresses into Word for our STDs. I don't know where to start as far as addressing the envelopes.... Do I place a return address label on the STDs? If so, what address should I use? FH lives at our co-op we both purchased but I still live at home with my parents. Also, is postage different since we'll be using magnets instead of cards?
PLEASE HELP! TIA!

I used labels for the mailing address and return address on the STDs. It's totally up to you which address you use. We live together so we just used our apartment. I used magnets and it was only one regular stamp. Our magnets were 3.5x4.HTH!

I sent magnets as well. I bought regular priced forever Love stamps. I also used clear Avery easy peel address labels (about 1'x 3')and white Avery easy peel square labels. I turned our return address into a seal that also includes our wedding date, so I placed it on the back side (sealed side) of the envelope. FH and I don't live together. I own a co-op and he lives at home with his family. For e-party invites we used my parent's addy since they were taking the RSVP calls. For STDs we're using my co-op address and we'll probably use that one for invites as well.*Photos in Wedding Stuff Album (seals to come after Sandy)

I also used labels. We live together so that doesn't help you. One forever stamp was fine for our magnets.

The seal sounds like a great idea. Something different. Thanks for your help!

Thanks ladies for your help! I was thinking of getting either the Rose stamp or the Love ribbon stamp which is regular postage. Good to know I can now do that.

Finally got an email from my photographer saying that our e-pics were posted on her site. Which site/vendor did you ladies use for your STDs?

I say use the address that you are around most often...Putting the return addresses are a good start...collecting guest addresses is the hard part. Try making a master list first since it takes the longest.

I think I'll put my address as the return address. I started collecting addresses since we booked our venue. :) just have a few I need to collect from the in-laws. Making this list was the hardest part especially since we are sending out STDs and can't have a B Guest list. It needs to be finalized now instead of next year with the invites.
