Save the Dates in Holiday Cards

So, what do you guys think of sending out save the dates in this year's holiday cards - keeping in mind that our wedding is on 11/3/07.

And do you think it would be really strange to include the hotel information along with the save the date so far in advance?

I did that! It's good that you're able to send them out so early, there'll be a better chance for your guests to actually save the date.

You could mention the hotel(s) that you're booking rooms in but I would wait to send the actual hotel cards out with the invitations.

I would include the hotel info. my family has bee bugging me about hotels since we set a date! it gives the oot time to plan.

I did the same thing! I included the hotel cards too. I felt it was important especially for my OOT guests. We tried to block rooms at one hotel and it was already completely booked!! I conveyed this message to people, in the hopes of them at least having a room held for them.

Like the saying goes, 'The early bird catches the worm'

I really wanted to do that because all of FH's family is from out of town. Needless to say we didn't because we aren't finalized at our RH yet. I just thought it would be cute!

But if you can do it, I say go for it!
