Save the Dates: Make or Buy?

What makes the most sense? Is it too much of a hassle to make them? (I am NOT artistically inclined!)

thanks!

I got magnets like these made by a vendor on ebay

They were something like $.30 each. hey can design what ever you want. I did not want it to look like a 'STD',,but rather something they can keep after the wedding.

I got mine from The Favor Lady too, and they are soooo cute, they came in less than 2 weeks and they were so cheap!

Thanks for all the great ideas for vendors!

If you decide to make them, how in the world do you do it? Did you buy a kit?

I made mine. I love them. I scanned a B&W picture of FI and I on the front and then wrote a little poem on the inside and included hotel info. It gave FI and me some alone time and we had fun designing it. It wasn't that expensive to do, but very time-consuming!! But if I had to do it over again, I would still make them!

I am in the middle of sending ours out now. My mom made them. They came out cute. I guess it depends on what you want. Mine weren't too difficult to make.

I bought mine. They were 'Save the Date' magnets. I just liked the idea of a magenet versus the regular cards.

But if you are creative i would suggest making them yourself. It definitely comes out cheaper.

I made mine in Word - if you FM your email address to me, I can send you the files....one for the front and one for the back - then I bought good paper and printed them on a color printer. hope this helps....people loved them...
