Save the dates- send to everyone?

Hi Ladies,

I'm sure there's been a post about this before...sorry if I'm asking again so soon.

For those of you who sent out save the dates, did you send to everyone you knew you were inviting? Or just immediate friends and family?

I'm wondering if its necessary to send to my parents cousins, coworkers, etc.

Also, can I send 1 to each household? If my cousins who I would invite with guests live in the same home as their parents- I don't have to send them separate ones, right?

Let me know your thoughts, thanks!!

I'm not sure what etiquette calls for, but we did only send 1 per house. There may be cases where 1 house may get 2 or 3 separate invites (Adult children will get own invite) but I felt like this informal save the dates sending 3 magnets per house was not necessary, also I only sent them to the 'main' group of people being invited (since I sent the over a year a head of time for holiday reasons) that means the people I know will 100% be invited, family, close friends, bridal party, and anyone out of town. Maybe its rude, but I didn't send it to the 'plan b' people or co-workers/possibles this way we are not locked down to inviting them as it gets closer and the guest list gets finalized. I did send them to my parents even though they know the date, just so they can have one to keep lol

Hope that Helps

This. I am only sending to the people I know will definitely be invited, come hell or high water. I am not sending to co-workers because God forbid something happens where I am no longer working there by the wedding. I will also send more than 1 to a house if there are adult children there or something.

Yes I'm only sending to definite invites, co-workers and distant friends, once you send it you get stuck! and I think 1 per household is acceptable

I'm only sending one per household and to family and friends I know I will be inviting. Co-worker's and my 'B list' people I don't think I will send to.

I sent mine to everyone who is on my A list (which is about 90% of the list). For those on my B list, I will just send them an invitation.

And yes, one per household.

I sent one per household. I sent to everyone I know I am inviting. I did not send to co-workers (except 2 co-workers I became good friends with).
