I found the perfect gown the other night at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa, but decided to call a few places and ask how much each would charge me for it.......so, for those of you who are still dress shopping, here's a little breakdown on who charges what:
Bridal Reflections, Massapequa
$1595 $295 cap on alerations
Bridal Suite of Bay Shore $1550 $250 cap on alterations
Adrienne's in Islip $1299 $295 cap on alterations
Bridal Elegance (Phyllis) Dix Hills $1100 $175 cap on alterations
needless to say, I went with Phyllis.
By the way, Phyllis says the dress should only take 4 months.....Bridal Reflections said that if I ordered today, they would wave the rush fee that I needed to pay to get that dress in time for my March wedding.....hmmmmmm.....

Bridal Reflections is Out Of Control
My FMIL order her dress from them in June for my wedding which is this October they didn't have to ruch the dress, they told her it would be here by the beginning of September. It came in two weeks after she ordered it....
I don't have much trucst for them.

Hey - another date twin I am glad to hear about the shipping, b/c I am looking for BM dresses and Bay Shore Bridal told me that the dress companies don't ship in Nov., Dec. and Jan. Maybe I will check other bridal shops. Has anyone else heard that?

I checked around for mine also. One place said 1700 and the place I got mine charges 1300.

Thak you ladies.....I went in with my heart set on ordering Chanel by Maggie Sottero.....but the sales chick at BR had me try on a few more she thought I'd like, and I fell in LOVE with this Justin Alexander....looks soooooo much better on than in the picture.....
Can anyone tell me where Bridal Elegance/Phyllis is located? Also, do they have BM dresses??? So far I have been quoted the same price for my dress, Maggie Sattero Brittanya at both Commack Wedding Center and Centereach Bridal Suite...

Phyllis is on Jericho Tpke across from DSW shoes in Dix Hills......take Deer Pk. Ave North till it splits, go right, and it's about 1 mi up on the right in the Maddaloni Jewelry shopping center....her phone # is on the website, I think
