I just called Geico and they lowered my car insurance $600 a year because I am married

THATS AWSOME. I LIVE IN FL AND MY HUSBAND FOUND OUT THAT IF WE GET MARRIED HE WILL SAVE $800.00. MY FH SAID LETS GET MARRIED TONIGHT....I SAID YEAH RIGHT...IM WAITING FOR MY WEDDING DAY.

DH has a perfect driving record and is turning 30
maybe that has something to do with it
But I am not sure

I work for an Insurance company and once you get married you get a credit as if you're more responsible if you're under 30. LoL

My hubby and I got married really young so we saved A LOT of money! That was 1 good thing about getting hitched.

Is that question for me... First you need to make sure his lic. is clean. If not Geico may surcharge you for his drving record. If it's all clear you get a Multi-Car discount and if he's under 30 & married he gets a credit. Once you marry someone you marry their drving record too.

to prove, you just call the co and add him as a house hold driver that's all. It's cheaper for women in genreal at least w/ us at State Farm. We get no extra credit for being 25-30 & married or not. Only if you're under the age of 25.
