okay for those of you paying for ur wedding and not yet living with ur fh...how are u doing it? how much do u save a month? we have two years and im scared..im graduating this year and he is waiting to get called for training for his job which is an air traffic controller

I second the INGdirect idea. I was never able to save until I opened an account with them a few years ago. The automatic deposit from your paycheck (it usually goes into your checking account) is a no brainer. They also have some handy dandy calculators that you can use to determine how much you need to save each month to reach your savings goal (it automatically adds in the interest). It really does add up after awhile.

I figured, at this rate, I will be able to buy a house in Nassau, in like, 97 years! Just kidding!

its nice to see so many others paying for their own wedding..i gotta say sometimes FH and i get alil jealous cause everyone of our friends whove gotten married in the last year has had their entire wedding paid for..
we WAY underbudgeted for this wedding, and thought we werent gonna be able to do it..but 18 days away, and i think we'll be ok lol..good to know
