savings after expenses

after you pay out all expenses(mortgage, utilities, food, shopping etc) how much money from your after tax income do you have left

*meaning dont count current savings

ETS: I didn't vote because we don't have a house yet. However, the price range of houses we are looking at will allow us to have about $1K per month go into savings. If we buy a co-op or rent an apartment we will save much more than that.
