Saw HWW and LOVED it BUT need other suggestions....
Hi Ladies, We went over the weekend to see the Hamlet Wind Watch and LOVED it. I was completely blown away. The price was great and the grounds are amazing. Since this was the first place we looked at, I kind of want to look at a couple more places just to see what else is out there. I was thinking the following: Flowerfield - I have an appt. Saturday morning. Woodbury CC - but they don't have 11/10 available Fox Hollow Westbury Manor Stewart Manor CC Royalton Harbor Club? - any reviews? someone suggested it but I have never heard of it.
Any suggestions??? & if you know price ranges that would be great - lol I know I am asking alot!!!
I need some help!
TIA
-Kris

Hmm based on what I think your taste might be I don't think you would really be into the Harbor Club, Chateau Lamere (sp?) or even my RH-Venetian Yacht Club. Sounds like you want something with more of a country club or cozy garden feel.
Like Bari I recommend East Wind..LOVE Eastwind You should also check out The Woodlands Westbury Manor Bourne Mansion Lands End
Good luck

Some halls that I love:
The Garden City Hotel The Woodlands Carlyle on the Green Deseversky Mansion Land's End Flowerfield (where we are getting married) Lombardi's on the Sound
--Those are just a few that I saw and loved. They have great reputations, awesome food, service, etc. I hope this info helps!! Good luck in your search!! Just to give you an idea, we are paying for September of 2007 on a Sunday evening $135 a person at FF... I know November will be less money because it is their 'off season' but I don't know how much. Good luck at the meeting-- you will LOVE it there, I started to cry when I walked in the entrance... and I still do every time, that's how I knew it was the place for us.

I also recently looked at HWW and loved it! I wanted to look around though b/c I think Hamlet WW might be too small for my party. I am thinking I will have over 175. I saw Harbor Club and it was very nice but just wasn't what I am looking for. The view there is amazing and the price was reasonable. FM me if you have any other questions.

Hamlet Wind Watch- I've been to a few events there and it is georgous. FH and I thought of having using them for our reception but we go there every year for an Ambulance company he owrks for and next year his FD is having their dinner there too. 3 times in one year was too many for us. Flowerfield - I love them. They have a beautiful cocktail hour with plants and a waterfall, they were unfortunetly out of our budget and didn't have the date we wanted. Woodbury CC - I've never been here personally for an event, but I used to valet there and it is beautiful. I never had a guest say anything bad about them while they were waiting for their car. Fox Hollow- FH's FD had their dinner here this year and it was really pretty. The only problem I had was the cocktail hour was in 2 rooms. There were about 300 people there and a wedding downstairs in the pretty atrium room. Westbury Manor- can't comment Stewart Manor CC- Never heard anything bad, but never been here Royalton Harbor Club- A friend is having their wedding there and its really pretty. I love the view, I know the food is good (another valet location) and the service is immpecable.
