FMIL took FH and I to see Wicked on Broadway and all I can say is GO SEE THIS MUSICAL!!! It was so incredible. FH kept shooting me looks during Glinda's scenes because she is very 'blonde'--not sure how I want to take that. Also, Joey McIntyre from NKOTB is in it!! I was secretly hoping he'd break into a rendition of 'Please Don't Go Girl' but it never happened

Yes, Idina was still in it. FH, who's been to a lot of Broadway shows, said her solo of 'The Wizard and I' was the best performance he's ever heard. I didn't know that she was married to Taye Diggs either--lucky girl

My whole family went while I had to work. I was SO jealous when they raved about it for days! I want to see it!

I'm going to see this again Jan. 2 when it might be Idina's last day.
I did see this with the new cast, but it wasn't the same as when I saw it with Kristin Chenowith. The new actress is really good, but Kristin was so comfortable in the role as if she was just playing herself, and her comic timing was really great, so it's so hard not to compare! Plus I didn't like Joey McIntyre. He really messed up on a song, I wish they would replace him, then it wouldn't be so bad.

Joey must have been having a bad day then. Because he was amazing when I saw him.
I have the cd & IMO Jennifer Laura Thomas has a better voice then Kristin Chenowith.

I've really wanted to see it. I saw a run through last year and I couldn't wait for it to open, but I didn't get to go before we left...maybe it'll come to London.
