Hi ladies - I booked LI Sound for my DJ and they have a live saxophone player to accompany the music. Not sure if I want this, and I haven't heard what it sounds like.
Any opinions on this?

This is my PERSONAL opinion, but I think that live music and recorded music do not go together. It's not natural. I have seen this before, and if anything, it's distracting. Think about it, a full band is on stage providing the music that is in the background, but if you add ONE live musician to a DJ, it puts the emphasis and focus on THAT person, and not just the music. As a musician, this bothers me for some reason. I don't know, it just doesn't mix well to me. That's my HONEST opinion.
