Say Cheese

Original post by Goldi1021

I went to Woodbury Common today for outlet shopping with my sisters (NOT recommended on a holiday weekend) and went to the Mikasa factory store. I had to have this. Those who know me know why:

mmmmm cheeeeeeeese.

oh, btw, Les - My FH will be working today, and I didn't have stuff to make him lunch. Being that he's literally right around the corner from you, it's totally OK that he stops in for some cheesy lunch, right?

Re: Say Cheese

If I am on the ball, I should be able to get this place cleaned up in about a week or two. Unfortunately, school starts for me next week and I will be crazed with that. Then I have the Jewish High Holidays. I may not be able to pull this off til the middle of October. UGH! Who knows!

How perfect would that be for a wine and cheese GTG?

OMG I was totally thinking that today!!

That would be awesome!!

I am really down for that if you guys don't mind the awful carpet that was not shampooed before we moved in. We need a MAJOR area rug!! Gimme a few weeks!

Why dont you check underneath the carpet to see if you have hardwood floors...I cant stand carpets...and especially if somebody else lived in the apt and walked on them...if you have hardwood floors, depending on their condition, you can either keep them as they are or rent a sander and do them yourself...Im sure you'll have no prob doing it. It was one of our DYI projects...came out great...

Neither one of us are that motivated. Nor do we have the time for such an undertaking. But thanks for the suggestions!

Re: Say Cheese

leslie- have you been to the village cheese store out east on Love Lane - its near the vineyards.

i HIGHLY recommend it.

they make fantastic fondue and if you are spending the day at the vineyards they have ready made cheese plates ready to go with sliced figs, grapes and 3 big blocks of a diferent type of cheese. its a great deal for the cheeses you are getting . all you need to do is pick up some crackers and you are set.
