Yeah she was a real nut. I wonder if the salesgirls actually liked her or just put on an act for the cameras.

You have to ask yourself why they devoted so much time to someone who didn't buy NEARLY the most expensive dress in the place. Maybe they just found her entertaining And the fact that she visited so often - well I guess they felt bad for her because she had no other friends to visit.

Oh my God! At first I was going to write that her dress was only $4000 (ONLY... ) I was thinking the same thing...I guess you'd have to kiss someone's a ss that buys a $10,000 dress but $4000 seems like chump change for Kleinfelds.

I know, it's hysterical that we think 4 grand is cheap in this case. But for Kleinfeld's it's a bargain, right???

And let me say my dress was NO WHERE near $4000 so its not like I'm laughing at it because its a small or cheap sum.

YES! It's only relative to the price of the dresses at Kleinfeld's and not related to what is 'expensive' or 'cheap' for a dress!!

I went to Kleinfeld's on Thursday and while we were waiting my mom was one of the ladies from the show, and then another and she was like 'this must be where they film 'say yes to the dress' bc both of those ladies are on it.' I have never seen it... But now I know!

lol i wouldnt say its a bargain hahahaha. Dresses do start at 1800 at kleinfelds but i will say most of the dresses they had out were in the $4-6k range. Infact i would say most of the dresses they sell are in that range. Most of the dresses i saw were actually almost all the same price. When i went they only had 1 dress out that was over $6k, and then one i found in the back that was 10K. Even watching the show, they show much the dress is when someone purchases it and they all seem to be between $4-6k. Some do spend more, but many who spend ALOT have it customized...for example kenneth pool dresses are from $4-11k but if you want him to design something just for you is when they charge alot, so some of the clients they get will ask for this and thats when you see $25k dresses. But i would say thats a smaller percentage than those who buy dresses there in a smaller range.

They were probably nice to her bc downstairs in alterations, the girls at the desk just sit at the desk so gave them something to do lol. Plus when i was in alterations OMG every single time i was there, there was always at least 1 crazy girl so they probably liked dealing with someone that was nice. I couldn't believe how some girls acted, and i felt like i was watching the show bridezillas. I don't know whats wrong with some brides. Its funny when its time for some girls alterations. Even girls just sitting there waiting all looked so miserable, looked so worried, all complaining about themselves, one girl was throwing shoes and screaming at her mother, she acted like the girls on the sweet 16 show, she was young so reminded me of them. It was sad bc i was there on crutches when i had to go for my fittings and i was just happy my dress was in and excited, and all the girls around me were miserable. Everytime i had to sit and wait for them to bring my dress into the room, i would sit there laughing to myself watching all the girls

I have to watch that show, I've never seen it but I did get my dress there last month, I didn't see any real loonies when I was there, but the dresses are not cheap, however the 4K-6K range seems about right for whats out, when I was looking they brought in one dress, it was HUGE and very ugly, however it was 20K!!!!!!! Who would spend that type of money on a dress?!?!?!?!? I love my dress, and I don't have to give up my first born for it!! :)

a child is exactly what she acted like...she would even sit there pouting. I felt like screaming at her myself, i was there on crutches and didnt even know if i could wear shoes and felt like telling her to be grateful and STFU. Well she acts like that with her mother bc yeah her mother probably always allowed her to.

If i would've done that, even at 28 years old my dad would've probably smacked the sh*t out of me hahahaha. But i could never talk to my mother like that especially in public

My mother would have done the same as your dad.
When I was there the other day, I didn't see anything of the sort. Hopefully when I go back, I will just as lucky.

yeah upstairs where the dressing rooms are and girls trying on dresses, everyone was real happy when i went. I guess people are just excited to get their dresses.

But oh god alterations was a different story. They call you in for alterations about 6-8 weeks before your wedding, and yes its always alot more stressful 6-8 weeks before the wedding, very different than 1 year before when you go to buy a dress. ALso its different trying on a sample and then having your actual dress come in so i understand some are nervous, and also all the anxiety with the wedding coming up...i mean we are there even 1 week before the wedding for final fittings. I was stressed too but you still could act decent ya know. I didnt pick up my dress until the day before my wedding, it was hectic...it poured all day long i was driving for hours and running around like crazy, i was soaking wet, didnt eat anything yet and exhausted. It is stressful but doesnt give people the right to act like that.

some of it was entertaining lol but i also felt bad too bc one girl next to me i overheard her saying she didnt lose enough weight and thought she will look horrible, she was a beautiful girl and i felt bad. It is stressful bc you worry if the dress will fit you, i was scared it wouldnt fit me lol so these thoughts go through your mind. I was just sad bc it was right before my wedding and i was on crutches but still tried not to focus on that and just be excited that after a year of waiting my dress was finally in
