I was at the showcase at the Huntington Hilton this past Monday, and upon arrival, they made me fill out a small green index card. Today I got a phone call saying FH and I won a drawing - allegedly we've won a 3 day trip and a $500 gift card. Apparently I don't have to buy anything (and no timeshare presentation) - all I have to do is go to Huntington Cottage Inn (I live in H-ton) and fill out a survey.
Has this happened to anyone else? Sounds like a scam to me...

Re: Scam?
I know that they do give away a lot of things at the expos/showcases. Would it be worth it to call the Huntington Hilton and ask them for a referral?

Re: Scam?
i hope it isn't a scam, but it sounds like it. I am so tired of getting phone calls saying I've won some bridal thing and it being absolutely nothing...
I hope that isn't the case for you... $500 gc would be NICE
I just found the above link which basically makes this thing sound like a HUGE scam. If anyone else that went to HH on Monday got the call - DO NOT GO!!!!

Re: Scam?
It's a huge scam from 21st century. The gift card can only be used to be there products which cost thousands of dollars and the free hotel can only be used on off peak dates during the weak. Look them up on consumer reports, there is a huge review about them

Re: Scam?
I had read about that 'scam' on here before I went to the expo... And as I was handed that green card... I looked down and laughed (cuz I knew that was it) Dont you think the next day, I get a call from them... I think they call everyone
I try not putting a phone # down where I can help it, but I will put down my 'wedding email address' instead... Its easier to just click delete than listen to some long winded story that is costing me $$ on my cell phone

Re: Scam?
i got a call from them a few months back. before i was really planning or anything and they said i won a trp that FH and i only had to go fill out a survey and watch some cooking demo and tell them what we thought. thats was it. no purchase involved, FH thought it was BS so we never went.
