How come when I scan a pic it is automatically large size 253KB? I can not make it smaller on my computer. Am, I missing a software.
If I upload it to shutterfly will it re-size it the way I want it? Thanks.

When you put the pic in the scanner, you should do a 'preview' of the pic first - and you can select the amount of pixels you want the scanned image to be. The more pixels, the bigger the file. If that wont work for you, go in to the printer setting and change it ther. I'm sure you can adjust the scanned image size, you just have to play a little. Also, if none of that works, there is a great little photo editing program which you can download FREE. It's called 'Irfanview' - do a search on Google for it. You can resize and edit pics all sorts of ways. Its a small program and easy to use. Kathy
