Yes. It was a big issue last year on here and had everyone calling their vendors to make sure that they are still booked. Rest easy though because vendors won't just drop you with a phone call from a third party--they usually require a written letter from you.

I was just at a hair and makeup trial and the vendor told me that last year a bride on here got catty and called the vendors of other brides on here that she didn't like and she cancelled the vendors of the brides by pretending to be the other brides. I WOULD FREAK OUT! I am sooo going to be careful about what I post on here from now on!

ive heard about her... she apparently was a complete nut... i feel like bc of this, all vendors should haver to confirm someway by like sending out a letter or calling the original number back thats on the order

i hope most of those vendors didnt just cancel bc of a phonecall. Well with an Rh at least its a bit more difficult bc you have to come in and sign papers.

Also, im sure the girl didnt have alot of info about the bride such as last name and more importantly address. I know some girls were scared about this last year and set up passwords with their vendors in case this happened. Its not that easy and if its about what happened last year the girl NEVER cancelled another brides vendors, she came on here pretending she did but it never really happened, infact it was an 08 bride who made up a different sn and said she was going to do it to a certain bride, well ron came on the next day and told us that the bride who said she will steal the other brides vendors was the same girl, as in the girl she was talking about and saying she wants her vendors was a girl named karen, karen came on all upset that somebody would do this to her, but ron said that karen made up the other sn and was talking about herself the whole time. I guess she wanted to get attention by showing how another girl loves her wedding so much she wanted to copy everything bc of how great she is lol, so she made another sn to talk about this lol A vendor wont just say ok thats fine, bye

dont be afraid bc alot of ppl who werent on at the time and dont know exactly what happened have the story wrong. So alot of ppl think that somebody actually called and cancelled a brides vendors and then they went and told other ppl that it really happened which it didnt

She was banned, so even if she made a new sn its her ip address that was banned but who knows. If she used a different computer she could post. For all we know she might've made up some sn and posted on here

Thats horrible i dont care how much id ont get along with aperson or whatever i would never ruin a persons day liek that. It takes so much to get it all together. Thats just wrong!

I guess taht means the day befor eyour wedding make sure all of your vendors are still under contract! lol

How did they find out who it was to begin with which led to her banishment??? Seriously im thinking of giving allof my vendors a number to call to verify if a cancellation occurs.

wow, someone has too much time, I can't believe someone actually took that much effort!! I was nervous at one point because I didn't want someone to do that to me, but like denise said, its not that easy to cancel someone elses vendors. Think about all the girls that cancelled their halls and are months into fighting with them to get their money back. The vendors you booked with are making money that day and aren't going to let you walk that easily. I really wouldn't worry.
