scary!!!!

OMG! I was watching TV downstairs and my DH was upstairs when we heard a loud BANG!!! outside. I yelled for my DH and he ran outsid to look. He started running across the street to a neighbor we havent' met yet and I ran out to see. My neighbor's car had crashed through her garage door! We got there when she was trying to climb out and we helped her out of the car and away from the wreckage. She told us that she was trying to stop, but the car wouldn't and accelerated. She had crashed through her garage and the car was stuck ontop of the garage door boards, paint cans, and whatever else was in her garage. My DH and some neighbors helped her get the car out (It took over an hour) and we discovered that her lawnmower is stuck under her car. She is waiting until tomorrow to get a mechanic and towtruck to help her out. She doesn't know why her car just lunged forward. The scary thing is that she had said she was just on the LIE. Can you imagine? I feel so bad for her. She now has so much damage to her car, garage and house!

And this is a very quiet neighborhood! What a night!

That is so scary!!! I hope she realizes how lucky she is.

(This happened to me, I took a pole out of the ground in the employee parking lot in the Ozone Park Home Depot. It might be the rack and pinon(sp). I couldn't stear my car and it seemed to be accelerating...)

As long as she is alright.

this happened to my great aunt as well...she couldn't brake and crashed into a brickwall..thankfully she was parking in a parking spot...so she wasn't going too fast...

I was so upset when I got into an accident last year...until the next day I saw an accident with cars turned upside down, firetrucks and ambulences...and all I could think was thankfully that didn't happen to me
