schedule issue ...
i am having my ceremony and reception at the westbury manor. they told us ceremony will take place at 12:30 pm and cocktail hour at 1pm. I dont want to see my FH before the ceremony ... i like that tradition ... and my FH doesnt want to miss the cocktail hour to take pictures ... but the only time we have to take pictures would be after the ceremony which would totally cut into cocktail hour time. I went in and spoke to our banquet manager and told her the deal and asked if we could move our ceremony up to 11:30 or 12 so that we could have just a little time inbetween the ceremony and cocktail hour to take pictures ... our guests could hang out and relax have a drink whatever ... and then we wouldnt miss our cocktail hour, or we could come in half way thru ... heck we are paying for the freakin cocktail hour i we would like to see it. she said that it was NOT possible to move the time up. she said we could do all our pictures before, with the bridal party and stuff but still keep me and my FH seperate and then me and FH could take pictures after which wouldnt take much time ... it just makes me upset because we are paying all this money and i dont see the big deal with them moving the ceremony up to 12 pm...its just a half hour and would make life easier! it is not like they have another wedding going on earlier that morning!!! i should have thought about all this before i booked! sorry its soo long i just dont know what to do!
