I have a dilemma. My wedding is June 10, 2006. I have 3 classes left for my associates degree. I think 3 classes will be too much while planning a wedding. I decided I can take one of the 3 during the summer after the wedding, this leaves me with an online class and a class on Tuesday nights. I am not so worried about the class work during the semester, but I am petrified of the finals and papers due only 3 weeks before the wedding. Maybe I should just take the online course? Not sure, any advise would be great.

It depends on what will work for you. I am trying to finish up my masters and decided not to take any classes this coming semester, that it would be too much with all the last minute things that have to be done... also if you take a summer class, will you hav time to go on a honeymoon?

i think that is a decision you need to make for yourself... only you know how you are... personally, i have worked 80 hour weeks before, i have had a full time job, while taking 3 masters classes, along with another part time job... i have also had 18 credit semesters... i did it, it wasnt always easy at times, but i made it work, because that is what i needed to do... if i was still in school, i wouldnt alter my schedule just so i had time for wedding planning... but that is just me...

it's all about what you can handle.
i decided not to take classes this semester because i didn't want to be stressed out and miss a bunch of them. i am soooo happy i did this. i will pick back up in the summer.

I am constantly on the go, which I don’t mind; however I run myself to the ground. I then become overwhelmed and stressed. Maybe I should have mentioned that I work full time during the week and then play GI Jane 1 weekend a month.
After writing the above statement, I just realized that maybe one class is good enough….see girls this website is very theraputic. I just answered my own post.

I had the same exact problem, I am getting married June 3rd. I decided to take the smester off because I thought it would be to stressfull for me. I work full time and with the wedding plaining I felt that It would be too much. It all depends on you. I wish you luck with your desion.

This is my last semester and I am taking 3 classes to complete my Masters degree! Its totally doable...I think you should do it and not waste time...go on for your BA.

I agree. I once took 13 credits in one summer session. 3 of those classes we online through my college and one was a Math class at Towson University. Please dont under estimate an online class. They include A LOT of reading, responses, papers, and self discipline. Best of luck!

I know what you are going through. I am going through a similar problem. I didn't do well in my A&P 1 class so I am taking it over this semester. I want to take off for the summer since I have been taking summer classes other years. I need to take A&P2 starting in Sept. so I won't be far behind. I am getting married Sept. 16. I need to take these 2 classes and do good so I can apply to the RN nursing program.
