How did you find that out?? I was going crazt this morning looking for it!! Do you know if Plainedge schools are good? Our realtor originally told us to stay away from there...
Sachem beats Half hollow Hills / Dix Hills & Elwood only has good numbers because it is really small
This is not a list ranking the schools by any means. This is simply of list of the schools and their district numbers that I know off hand.
Kissy--I'm a realtor so that is how I know them, I don't know of anywhere you can get a full list so I just typed them up for you. Hope it helps.

Re: School District
I grew up in and attended the Plainedge School District. It is a very good district, one of the best on the island.
ETA: They are in the process of building a new middle school.

Re: School District
I have grown up in the plainedge school district. only attended john west up to 3rd grade but had a great experience. they are building that brand new state of the art HUGE middle school right by my house--it's nuts!! but it's a good district!! it encompasses many towns--bethpage, n. massapequa, parts of farmingdale and parts of seaford---boundaries are so weird!

I know, I am working with lots of buyers right now in the same situations! But don't let someone tell you that a certain district is 'bad' because there are very few on LI that are bad when compared to the rest of the country! Just do lots of research and find out what areas you feel comfortable in. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Sorry about that, I guess I didnt read closely enough.... my fault... (lol)
Not a problem!!! Just wanted to make sure I was clear that I am in no way ranking the districts!

Re: School District
I was raised and bought my 1st home in Seaford. We are in 6. The Seaford school district is very good, I have no complaints. Both my brother and I did very well.
