looking at a house in seaford .. school district levittown .. thoughts experiences? anyone know the website to get reviews of the school . . TIA

mlsli.com- if you find a house you like and click on it, one of the options is school reviews.

I think its MLSLI, if not then maybe zillow

I live in Wantagh but go to Levittown schools. My fiancé and his whole family went through the whole system and had a wonderful experience.

I'm assuming your north Seaford. I grew up in Seaford and went to Seaford HS. The lady who used to do my nails lives over by MacArthur High School so I believe it's the same school districts your talking about and her son loves his school.

Talking as a teacher - it's a fine school district, however, they have excessed 100s of teachers the past two years - including the arts programs.

exactly, I know so many teachers that came to my school excessed from there, especially the arts and electives....

but by the time your kids go to school, things could be different.

same here. Just moved to the area but FH went to school there. I looked up school districts to find the area we want to live. Levit schools did pretty well and have good reviews

We have been house hunting for what feels like forever, we are in contract now, but we did look at levittown. schools were really imporatant to me b/c i ahve a 7 yr old. This is what i learned, there are parts of Levittown that are better then others. you do not want go to division ave high school mc arthur is good and island trees schools are good as well. we looked at a house on a main rd, it was next ot a house that was a new construction and had an elementary school next to it. the area was seaford, w levittown schools. you will notice though that levittown property taxes are insane. there was no one site that worked perfectly for me alhtough you can attain statistics and such.

regardless of what people are saying, i have learned to follow my gut when it came to a house. good luck and i have an amazing realtor if you need one (she gave me the ins and outs of the districts)
