SUMMER SCHOOL IS OFFICALLY OVER FOR ME!!!! Not like I have nothing to do:
-Ordering invitations Monday -Seeing 4 florists -Having my hair dyed because my roots are ghastly -Having our e-pics taken -Packing up my apartment and moving etc. etc.

I have to be back on the 6th. I teach summer school because the money is good and my building has air conditioning. This summer's salary is going to pay for a %age of the wedding. Ugh - so will next summer's!!!

me too! summer school is just too much money to pass up. my credit card bills will be paid adn then i can charge for the wedding. it never ends.

Goodness. Last year I had students that were close to angels, but the years before that I always got that one student that drove me crazy. I hope that this year will be a good year!

I already got my fall class assignment. I have 8 good kids with no major behavior issues. I also have an assistant teacher rather than a para-professional which means I am only responsible for HALF of my lesson plans. I can't think of anything better than having LESS work while I am planning my wedding.

Goldi, that's great that your getting another teacher versus a para. Hope it works out. My first two years with my para were difficult!!! Last year was the first decent year we had and it seems we're starting off on the right page. Good luck

Boy, are you lucky! I have one more day of classes, then the English Regents to help out with and grade! I won't be done until 1 or 2 on Wed.! (And I haven't done anything you're planning to do either, and we are moving too! Well, I have packed a few boxes).

i teach in an elementary school in brooklyn. i taught 3rd grade and this year i will be teaching second. im glad no test pressure during the year of wedding planning.
