Re: SCOTTO BROTHERS BRIDES
At this point, I can't give my opinion. Another Watermill bride and I were posting on the WM thread about how her BM was not returning phone calls... for weeks at a time. Apparently, he either read the thread or another bride relayed the information to him when she might have had her own concerns. Long story short, the BM called this bride and she felt very intimidated by the conversation. And what we were saying was not speculation, it was true. That's all I'll say, vendors read this board.
We have to be careful. I will only state details in FM's to people from now on. I don't want to put my day, nor anyone else's, in jeopardy.

Re: SCOTTO BROTHERS BRIDES
I called Westbury Manor on Sat and spoke with a BM who reassured me that everything was fine and our contract would be honored 'to the penny and more' (quote). I have a friend who works pt in catering and says it is all the same at every hall in terms of laborers not being paid, etc. He currently works for WM and says the last few weeks have been a vast improvement under new management

Re: SCOTTO BROTHERS BRIDES
I coud care less. I think the panicing over the change in manegement, and the law suit is just silly. These halls know what they are doing and i think every bride has a lot more to worry about than a switch in mangement ! It is still owned by a SCOTTO so don't worry! Im not a bit worried and my wedding is in 12 days!

Re: SCOTTO BROTHERS BRIDES
I think I stated this on another thread but scotto bros/family is a very strong catering business here on the island. I don't think any brides need to worry about this. This is just a bump in the road for them and is not an unusual circumstance in regards to catering halls.Welcome New Vendors
