Re: scotto brothers for invitations?

I haven't gone there for my invitations yet, but I plan to. Giovanna has to be one of the nicest people I've met - she always puts up with me and my mishugas with the planning. One day I stopped in on 30 minutes notice crying over budget worries and she calmed me down and helped me. I know that they have a very large selection of invitations and favors, and I believe there's a 15% discount involved.

Also check them out for flowers - Chris has an amazing sense of design. I am so excited about the bouquets he's helped me with, and the price I'm getting is unbelievable! He beat the other two florists I saw in both beauty and price - not to mention personality!

Everytime I meet with someone over at PWP I am more and more glad that we booked with Scotto Brothers.

Hello PrincessRose,

I am also getting married at one of the Scott Brother's facilities, and have been wondering about their prices.

If you wouldn't mind sharing what you are getting (florist, Photo, etc.) and the amount of money it's costing?

I wouldn't mind at all.

I am getting only personals for the flowers - aka bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids, boutoneires, and corsages. No decorative flowers.

My bouquet is mostly blue delphinium and hydrangea, with white roses and stephanotis (with pearls in some and rhinestones in others). The stems will be wrapped in white satin.

My bridesmaids' bouquets are Lavender Freesia, Lizianthus, Halloween Roses (lavender as well), and Stock, with blue delphinium accents. The stems are wrapped (this is one of my favorite parts) in Lavender satin with silver criss crosses, and a blue collar at the top and bottom.

I would be happy to discuss the fantastic quote I got through FM, but it beat my previous best quote by over $100, and was definitely prettier. I posted about a week ago when I first booked how unbelievably happy I was meeting with Chris, and I haven't wavered. It's the only thing I've been able to book without a second thought.

I called once and left a message for Giovanna to make an appointment to look at invitations and she never called me back. Glad to see she gave other people better service than she did me.
