Scrapbook alley in East Islip is closed!!!!

There is a sign that says they had a frozen pipe break & water damage. They have a lot of stuff out on the sidewalk-but all the other stores on the shopping center look fine.
I just thought I'd let everyone know in case you shop there. Hopefully when it reopens it will be better-the last few times I was there it was lame.

I hadn't been there in a long time, but when I was I liked it.

WOW!! I wonder if that is just the beginning of the downfall??

I don't think so, I think the owner (Allison) just got so involved with her other things --she wrote a book on quilling and she is the editor of a magazine (i can't remember which one) that she couldn't keep up with the store. I think they are asking $125,000 for the store if you are interested!

Ohhh I wish!! that would be too cool!! and of course I would give my LIW buddies a HUGE discount!!

Directions

Southern State Parkway to exit 45 west (27A/East Islip). Turn left at STOP sign, turn right at light onto 27A/Montauk Hwy (it is the same as Main St.) go past another traffic light. Approximately 3-4 blocks after traffic light the store is on the left hand side, next door to Pudgies Chicken.

Sunrise Highway heading East: Take Sunrise Hwy East (Rt 27) to exit 46S Carlton Ave. Head south on Carlton Ave. to the third light (Rt 27A/Montauk Hwy./Main St.) turn left and go about 3 blocks, the store is on the right hand side between Offshore Garage & Pudgies Chicken.

Sunrise Hwy heading West: Take Sunrise Hwy. West to Connetquot Ave. South, go to Montauk Hwy./27A/Main St. and turn right. Go past two traffic lights. Approximately 3-4 blocks after 2nd light the store is on the left hand side next to Pudgies Chicken.

Long Island Expressway: Take the LIE to Sagtikos/Sunken Meadow Pkwy. South, to Southern State Parkway East, to Exit 45W (27A/Montauk Hwy./Main St.) follow directions above from Southern State Pkwy.
