scrapbook, photos & basement

We have a finished basement with heat & a/c. Would it be safe for me to store my scrapbooking things and photos down there? I have read online that you should not store them in UNFINISHED basements, but what about finished basements where the temperature is controlled?

And where do you store your stuff? I have a whole CLOSET full of stuff and just don't know where else to move it to.

I am still kind of new and un experienced in that department but I would probably say as long as the envornment was controlled temperature wise, you should have noproblem. I keep all of my stuff in our closet, due to lack of space!
