NOOOO...I tried to stay away...but the attraction was too strong...

I'm going to Michaels today...I hope DH doesn't kill me....

can someone give me a quick run down on what the embellishments are...like eyelets and such....thanks

welcome to scrappin Erica-it's very theraputic for me. Rich doesn't really care anymore how much I spend on 'scrap c-r-a-p' as he calls it-because I'm happy & calm when I scrap. He even goes with me to michaels sometimes now!
And when we were on vacation he kept showing my tickets & our stuff he was saving for my scrapbook!
At first I tried to be low key-I was on ebay constantly, now its obvious-I spend alot!

LOL @ Kelly!! My husband now points out the scrapbook stores to me!!

I am so into buying stuff on Ebay!! I have gotten some great deals!! Of course, I have to try and sneak them into the house without HArry seeing me!!

Erica - I'm on Two Peas too Posted my first LO a few mths ago, but haven't shared any of my recent stuff yet...not sure if I like it yet

I have spent SO much on supplies, but I'm trying to not rush it and buy wisely. I research like crazy on a few sites and see what products/brands are best before I buy. I dropped ANOTHER $100 at Michael's yesterday!!!

All these da*n supplies - I bought an eyelet setter that I could have done myself using a hammer and screwdriver But I wanted the whole set

Erica - welcome to the addiction. It's worse then LIW

I enjoy the shopping as much as the scrapping:D It adds up so quickly and everything is just so cute or cool and I just love the paper!!!!! I can't get enough of that. I hope to one day buy as I need things for a particular lay out.

DH doesnt care how much I spend but wish it took up less space in the dining room....LOL He doesn't like Michaels but will go with me to almost any other scrap place.

I hope you enjoy scrapping!!! I really think it's therapeutic and enjoyable and you have piece of art at the end of the day that you created of loved ones.

I had a dream about you guys last night and scrapping!!!

my mother turned my childhood room into a craft room...but what it really looks like to me is a big closet...there is barely room to walk around with the stacks of fabrics (she's a quilter) and whatnots...

Scrap ladies- I need help= I need to scrap but haven't because I don't have any letters to make word headings- do you have the sticker letters or the stencils.. what do you find is better? I need to make better boarders but I'm not a HUGE fan of the stickers.. I pretty much do it all by hand with tearing techniques and different scraps (I watch the scrapping show on DIY network- it's SO good).

I actually print my titles off the computer. I can never get the stickers or stencils to look right.

I have a whole set of alphabet punches. they are great be because I can punch the letters out in any color or pattered paper!! Of course the whole set cost me $180!!
of course the ony drawback is that they are only one font!!
