Scrapbooking Question

Scrapbooking Question

I have a question for all of those who scrapbook.

I've been searching for Proof Albums that I like, for a reasonable price and for one that can hold my 300 5 x 5 proofs. But I can't find any....

So here's my question,

Can I buy a 12 x 12 scrapbook (like picture #1, which includes 10 top loading sheet protectors and 10 white page inserts (20 sides) Screwpost binding allows pages to lie flat and accepts unlimited refills) and then if I replace included pages by buying pages with mats (like in picture #2) to hold (4) 5 x 5 pictures to a page--Is this possible? And if so, where can I buy these mats?

TIA

P.S. I never did a scrapbook so I don't know if this makes sense.

edited to add: forgot to add the pictures

Re: Scrapbooking Question

I think a 12x12 would work fine. I've made several of this size books and have added additional pages. As for the mat, I would check out AC Moore and Michaels. Even try a scrapbooking store. But I think AC Moore would be a better choice. I'm also dedicated to this store. I love it!

This would make a beautiful book for all your proofs. What you could also do is purchase one of those labeling machines (Brother for example) and do some sort of fancy tags to tell a brief note about that picture or page.

good luck and let me know what you decide.
