I was thinking at my wedding, to give everyone scratch off tickets as the favor... I thought his would be a fun thing to do... especially i someone winns..... (one out of 100 is bound to win something good) and my mother in law said, i shoudl just keep my favor and give nothing.
How does everyone feel about this?

I love it. (because that is what we are doing). We are getting married on 07/07/07 - so we are giving Lucky Seven scratch off tickets.
But we are also giving custom M&M (Tami & Phil; 07/07/07) in our colors.

My thoughts....if someone wins like a huge amount of money i would be p!ssed I was thinking of doing it be decided not to.

We aren't doing it but I think it's a really good idea especially since my family likes to gamble and gives out those scratch offs for all the birthdays.

my friend did these at her wedding last year and they were a big hit. The table I was at agreed that if any of us won something we would split it evenly. One guy won $1 so we each got 12 and 1/2 cents! It was kind of fun because it broke the ice at the start of the wedding...we were OOTers and didn't know a lot of people attending.

I found on orientaltrading.com holders for them, especially for wedding....
I would do it!!! Never know! I would so thrilled if someone won.

My friend did it at her wedding a few years ago and it was a great ice breaker. There were a few extras at our table and we won $16! It was nice because they had a head table and one of the BMs boyfriends who I didn't know well was at our table so we had something automatically to talk about.
The bride used little vellum envelopes and got brand new pennies from the year of her wedding to enclose to scratch off the tickets with.

my best friend is also getting married 07/07/07 and will be doing the lucky 7 scratch off's at each person's place setting....i think it's an adorable favor
