Did anyone read the book? I saw the movie and loved it and decided to read the book...it was good, but a little slow at times. I actually liked the movie better, but they changed some of the facts around in the movie - I guess to make it more dramatic.

I read the book but have not seen the movie yet.
I agree with you - the book was slow at times (especially during the whole weight/purging secion - TMI!!). But with non-fiction, I find books sometimes have their slow period as the lay the ground work. Great story!
