Seafood and spaghetti

Anyone have a recipe for spaghetti with seafood (ie shrimp, clams, calamari, etc with white wine & olive oil) DH tried to make one on Saturday (actually, it was something that I wanted to make, but he completely took over) but it came out too dry and too fishy.

Any suggestions?

I actually just buy a bag of the frozen seafood mix and put it in my red sauce or my clam sauce - easy and always a hit!

Re: Seafood and spaghetti

Over fetuccini.

2 cans of tomatoes - crushed
one can of tomato paste
1 cup of burgundy wine
pepper to taste
1/3 tsp salt (sea salt)
3 cloves of garlic, halved
Bring to a simmer, and then add: (one of these)

1. sauteed shrimp...sauteed in garlic, butter and minced garlic

2. Blue Claw crab, halved, still in the shell

3. Lobster tail - pan seared

Let simmer on med heat for at LEAST one hour. Keep lid on saucepan & remove only to strain excess oil.

Add more bits of burgundy wine occasionally until cooked. Sauce will taste sweet, but robust.

Thanks, but I'm looking for something with white wine, garlic and oil, not red sauce. I already have too many recipes made with red sauce.

Here is a link to my white calm sauce recipe White Calm Sauce.

If you want to add other seafood, you could add calamari and shrimp once the sauce is done for 2 minutes before you add the pasta. If using the calm water makes it too fishy, then you could substitue white wine for the calm juice.
