Sealing Invitations---Question

Hey Girls,

So I am in the process of sealing my invitations. Are you supposed to lick the envelopes shut or just use the sticky tabs that they give you to close them? I have french envelopes so I really don't want to lick them because they will get ruined when my guests open them up, but if the sticky tabs are not going to be enough I don't want the invitations to open up in the mail. Any advice?

I'm not really sure what french envelopes are...but we used a wet sponge to close our envelopes so we didn't have to lick them all!! They stayed and it didn't ruin our envelopes at all.

ok, I started an identical thread in february.... let me pass on to you the solution other wise LIW'ers told me...

GLUE STICK

It worked perfectly. Sponges can be drippy....
