Sealing invites

How are you sealing your envelopes! ?
What did you use or wgat will you use?

I bought envelope seals (stickers) do u still need to lick - moisten them ?

Sealing invites - Long Island Weddings

im not sure.. I got the wax stamp with our monogram on it to seal them. i think you should still seal it because you dont want them to open too easily

I ended up licking them lol. The little sponge made them too wet, so I did it the old fashioned way and it looked the best. There were 3 of us doing it so it wasn't to bad.

Sealing invites - Long Island Weddings

I used a regular new kitchen sponge and dipped it into a bowl of water. If it got too wet I just squeezed some water out of it and I didn't have any problems. When I went to my my parents and siblings houses I made sure the invites arrives still sealed lol.

Sealing invites - Long Island Weddings

I'm going to use a tape runner. They are super easy to use and I dont want the paper on the envelopes puckering up from getting wet.
