Seamstress

Can anyone recommend a good seamstress to alter a wedding dress?

I am having a second reception this august and i bought a great dress at RK Bridal however, they don't have many fittings times left btween now and august. They gave me two dates that don't work for me and can't seem to accomodate my time.

You can try Julius Bridal. My BMs are getting their dresses custom made their and I know the seamstress is their a couple of times a week. You can email him and ask if you could use their seamstress. [email protected] If not I know a recent bride had her dress altered in Staten Island and she gave a good review. I think her name is Fabulousmady. Check on the brides review

i'm not sure where you are or how far you are willing to travel, but there is a great place called Moda Alterations on hempstead turnpike in franklin square. they have done all my bridesmaids alterations. i don't know anyone who has personally used them for a wedding dress, but i have seen wedding dresses in the shop.
