Is it for a gown you already have? If yes then bring the gown into Doris Fashions on 18th avenue and 68th Street they may be able to help you. Be sure to ask for Josephine to do the work.

Stressi's on 20th Ave and 86h Street. That are AMAZING an VERY affordable.

There is a dry cleaners on Smith Street near Caroll Street -- can't remember the name, but its by the F train to Carroll in Carroll Gardens. An older Italian couple owns it and does all the alterations. I had several BM dresses altered there, she's great!
