Seamstress in Islip/Babylon area

I bought my dress at the Bridal Garden in Manhattan, but decided not to have them do the alterations to avoid multiple trips to the city, and the woman just didn't seem like she would be willing to do what I wanted with the dress.
Does anyone know of a good seamstress in the Islip/Babyon area? I of course need alterations done, but am also looking to alter some parts of the dress as well (ie - take in the crazy cathedral length train!)

you could try village bridal in babylon village. im not sure if they'll alter a dress that isnt theirs, but i dont see why not? they capped my alterations there when i purchased my dress there.

I know that the Drive-in cleaners in Islip has a seamstress on staff. I have gotten two gowns altered there and Ive seen wedding dresses waiting to be altered there.
