How does getting your dress altered work. I have an appointment on Monday at 1. (Denise, Im going to Sarina ) But how does it work? Do you put the dress on and show them what you want to get done? Do you have to pay or put a deposit down up front? Im clueless.

oh are you, she is real sweet...yeah just go into the dressing room and put the dress on, she'll see if it needs to be taken in, hemmed, or whatever needs to be done...if you specifically want something done then let her know. When ive gotten my dresses altered there i dont think i put a deposit, she gave me a ticket and i just paid when i picked up the dress
